Memorial Day is one of my favorite holidays. I love the opportunity to reflect on those who have sacrificed their lives for us. It's also a time to reflect on loved ones I have lost along the way.

When I was younger I would go to the cemetery on Memorial Day weekend to put flowers by relatives' graves and hear my grandmother tell stories about her family for hours. I absolutely loved it.
