FREE Life Cycle of a Peach Printable Pack

"Is it time to pick the peaches?"

This is the question Sunshine has always asked and still does the minute our peach tree starts to show signs of life.

Sunshine has an incredibly difficult time waiting until the peaches are ripe. She wants to pick them NOW and sometimes does. I know of no one who loves peaches more than she does.

For years I have wanted to create a resource for her that will help, but didn't get around to it until this year.

I am absolutely in LOVE with our FREE Life Cycle of a Peach Printable Pack and hope you enjoy it too!

The FREE Life Cycle of a Peach Printable Pack comes with two different activities that can be used in multiple ways.

  • Life Cycle of a Peach Sequencing Nomenclature Cards
  • Life Cycle of a Peach Chart

Climbing a Peach Tree

Life Cycle of a Peach Sequencing Nomenclature Cards

In the printable pack, you'll first see a set of nomenclature cards with numbers on them. These cards can be used for sequencing the life cycle of a peach.

I chose not to use words on these cards because the names of each stage are very complicated and I wanted Sunshine to focus on the steps and sequence rather than the names.

Picking Peaches for the First Time

Life Cycle of a Peach Chart

The next activity you'll see are two versions of  Life Cycle of a Peach Chart.

  • Life Cycle of a Peach Chart with true-to-life images.
  • Life Cycle of a Peach Chart with blank squares and a set of pictures to place in the blank squares

Some of my kids enjoy placing pictures where they belong, using the control.

Some of my kids enjoy using the control as a guide to color pictures in the blank squares.

Sunshine will enjoy using the control to take to the peach tree with her. There she'll identify which phase the peaches on the tree are in.

Whichever way you choose to use them is up to you!

Pruning the Peach Tree

The true-to-life images are absolutely gorgeous in this printable pack and accurately depict each phase of the life cycle of a peach.

Are the Peaches Ready to Pick?

I hope you enjoy the Life Cycle of a Peach Printable Pack as much has we do! Sunshine is so excited about it.

We have spoken to her on the phone every night this week, mentioning how Princess has been picking peaches every day, and how Mommy is making all sorts of peach dishes for meals and desserts.

Sunshine is so hoping she'll be able to come home on a pass soon to join in the fun.

Last time she was home, the peaches weren't ready to be picked, as one can see in the picture above.
