Our book lists are back! Bulldozer has been begging for his new book list for the school year. I love that he enjoys reading so much.

This year he will be in 8th grade, but tends to read above grade level. I tried to find a balance between books that will be easy and those that will be more difficult. Bulldozer approved of his list.

If you're looking for book recommendations for 8th graders, this is for you!

Bulldozer enjoys very specific genres when it comes to books. I'm excited he's starting to branch out a bit. His list shows this.

He has observed his older brother reading classics and enjoying them and isn't opposed to trying a few this year. This is so exciting!

During the school year he's required to read fifteen out of twenty of the books on his list. This provides him opportunities to put down a few he decides he doesn't like and focus on ones he does enjoy.

And if you still can't find anything to meet the needs of of an eighth grader in your life, you may want to check out Princess' book list. Though it says it's for 7th graders, many of the books are great for 8th graders as well.
