All of a sudden my tiny little sweet pea has turned into a young man who is now taller than me! 

Gone are the days of toys and cardboard boxes that used to entertain him for hours. 

Dinomite is a full grown teenager who turns fifteen about a month after Christmas.

Though I will always miss the innocence of young childhood, I absolutely love Dinomite as a teen. He's so fun to observe and interact with. His personality is such a joy to be around (most of the time).  Dinomite is genuinely a good guy.

I admit, I didn't have a clue what to get him for Christmas this year. Yesterday I asked him to make a wish list of his top twelve picks. 

Knowing I'm not the only one in this position, I decided to turn his wish list into a post. Here are Dinomite's gift ideas for 14 year old boys!

Gift Ideas for 14 Year Old Boys

One of the things I love most about Dinomite's wish list is that all of the items he's selected are very reasonable in price. He's a simple kid who doesn't want much.

The things he does want, I admit, are pretty cool! 

1. Star Wars: Thrawn Ascendancy Book III Lesser Evil

Dinomite, Bulldozer, and my husband are all into the Star Wars: Thrawn series. Dinomite, especially collects all of the books and reads them over and over again. This is the latest book in the series and top priority on his list.

2. Kurdene Bluetooth Earbuds in Royal Blue

I have never seen a kid burn through headphones and earbuds like Dinomite does. 

It's not that he doesn't take care of them, because he does. 

He just uses them ALL THE TIME. 

Dinomite LOVES listening to music to help with anxiety and sensory regulation. These are the latest pair he wants to try in hopes they may last a bit longer.

3. LEGO Speed Champions Nissan GT-R NISMO 76896

Oh how I love that LEGO is for kids, teens, and adults alike! Combining LEGO with Dinomite's passion for cars is the ultimate gift. He says he has a special bond with this car in particular, which is why he wants it so badly to add to his collection.

4. Hit Run Steal Portable Pop Up Soccer Goals Set of 2

Dinomite is the most athletic kid in the house. He loves playing sports! 

For a while now he's been asking for soccer nets. 

Apparently the tiny orange kiddy cones just aren't doing it anymore.  Lol. 

Dinomite loves these nets because they are portable and he can set them up and take them down whenever he'd like.

5. Jurassic World Evolution for XBox One

Dinomite has had his eye on this game for a while. We usually aren't for getting games rated above his age range, but if you knew Owen's history with dinosaurs, you'd know this particular game isn't an issue. 

I admit, I'm excited about this gift idea as it will provide a break from the latest Madden NFL game he plays all the time.

6. San Francisco 49ers Factory Sealed 11 Card Team Set

Over the past year Dinomite has developed a new hobby of collecting football cards. He LOVES them, carrying them everywhere he goes. 

There's not a day that goes by that he's not sorting and organizing them. Dinomite has even developed a game he plays with Bulldozer and sometimes Princess. 

This is the newest set Dinomite wants. The San Francisco 49ers are his favorite team. 

I have learned very quickly that not just any football cards will do. Apparently there's a lot I don't know. Thankfully Dinomite has a grandfather who has collected football cards for years and is super excited to help Dinomite with this new passion.

7. DK Battles Map By Map Book

Dinomite wants to pursue a college degree in history as it is one of his greatest passions. This is the latest history book he's asked for. 

He showed it to me before adding it to this list, and I must say I love the layout and approach it takes to learning about history. 

You can never own enough history books!

8. Remember the Titans Blu-ray

When it comes to movies Dinomite wants this year, this is at the top of his list. 

He watched it on Disney+ and just had to have a copy of his home. 

This is no surprise to me as Dinomite LOVES football right now.

9. BENGOO Gaming Headset in Orange

Dinomite received a wonderful gaming headset a few years back. A couple months ago it finally wore out and so he's in need of a new one. 

He picked out these ones himself and loves the color orange. I'm hoping based on reviews, this gaming headset will last a little longer than the last one.

 10. Safari Ltd Incredible Creatures Sting Ray

Dinomite has collected animal figures since he was a toddler. Every year he picks at least one to add to his collection. 

This year, he's become fascinated with rays. They are closely related to the shark family, so this makes perfect sense to me. I love that after all this time, he still loves his animals!

11. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander and J. K. Rowling

Dinomite and I stumbled upon this book as we were looking for Harry Potter themed gifts a few weeks back.  He absolutely fell in love with it and just HAS to have it to go with all the others in his collection. 

Once a Harry Potter fan, always a Harry Potter fan!

12. Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation Blu-ray

Dinomite loves the Mission Impossible series and has been collecting the movies over the past few years. This is one he has yet to own and desperately wants it. I'm excited to watch it with him to fill in gaps from the other movies we already own. Lol. 

I can't wait to celebrate Christmas with Dinomite this year and watch him receive gifts from his wish list he's looking forward to.
